Reston Community Center is seeking a part-time facility team member to assist in setting up meeting rooms for events and classes. Duties include setting up and breaking down furniture, operating and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment, minor maintenance and custodial work (to include trash removal) and other work related to the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility.
This position will be primarily scheduled during daytime hours, Tuesday through Friday (i.e., 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). Holiday work may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a community center, conference center, or similar setting.
Special Requirements:
Position requires occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work. Ability to lift 50 lbs. required.
Note: This position is an exempt position and is not eligible for benefits.

Reston Community Center is currently seeking Dance Instructors for Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Courses offered are Pre-Ballet, Creative Dance, Ballet Combo, and Story Book Ballet. Candidates should have experience working with 3 – 6 year olds. Pay rate is $18.51 – $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Lifeguards—Mornings, afternoons and evenings. Weekdays and weekends. Must be certified in Lifeguarding and CPR. RCC Lifeguards receive free uniforms, paid in-service training and free advancement classes. Pay starts at $11.00 to $14.00/hour, depending on experience.
Water Safety Instructors—Mornings and evenings, weekdays and weekends. Must be American Red Cross certified. RCC Instructors receive free in-service training and free CPR training. Pay starts at $19.60/hour.
