In addition, the Reston Community Center displays art in the lobby and other areas of its facilities at Hunters Woods and Lake Anne. 3-Dimensional Art Displayed in Mirrored Cases A 3-Dimensional Art Gallery is one of the glorious results of the RCC Lake Anne renovation completed in September 2011. Ceramic pieces, from bowls to plates to vases to whimsical objects like piggy banks and wind chimes, are on display along with jewelry, sculpture, stained glass, and mosaics. Lighted display cases line the walls of a 30' long hallway. Within each 4' X 6' display case are two glass shelves and one solid shelf. The back of the entire wall of cases is mirrored, giving a truly 3-dimensional view of the art. Many of the items on display were created by students and teachers of RCC ceramic, sculpture, stained glass, mosaic and woodworking classes, and most are for sale. Contact Gloria Morrow, Exhibit Coordinator, for information about purchasing art at Gloria.Morrow@fairfaxcounty.gov or 703-390-6187. When visiting the Jo Ann Rose Gallery, take a short walk down the hall for a real 3D treat! How to Exhibit at RCC
