May 1 – 31 • Jo Ann Rose Gallery

Reception: Sunday, May 10, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m

This is the 21st year for the Teacher and Student Art Exhibit, which showcases works of art that students and teachers of Reston Community Center’s arts and crafts programs have created over the past year. The exhibit includes works in a variety of mediums and techniques, such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, oil pastel, Chinese Brush Painting, collage, mosaic and pencil. Works in ceramic, sculpture, mosaics, woodworking and stained glass will by teachers and students will be displayed until the end of August. All of these works reveal the two-way process of students and teachers exchanging ideas, expanding creativity and having fun.  Please join us on May 10 for an opening reception with light refreshments.
