Curated by local jazz fan favorite\, Darden Purcell\, this series regularly delivers some of the best jazz talent in the region. \n  \nMatt Niess & The Capitol Bones \nFormed in 1990\, The Capitol Bones is a unique trombone band that has performed for over 30 years with a stable section featuring two bass trombonists\, Jeff Cortazzo and Jerry Amoury\, and three tenor trombonists\, Jay Gibble\, Jim McFalls and Matt Niess\, following the Stan Kenton model. \n  \nInclement weather can cause event cancellations; check RCC’s Facebook/X pages or call 703-476-4500 close to the event time.\nPresented by Reston Community Center and Reston Town Center Association in partnership with Darden Purcell.
