SUMMARY:“Xing Art Studio Show” Reception
DESCRIPTION:Masterful works of art by the students of Xing Art Studio will be on display at Reston Community Center Hunters Woods during September and October. From kindergarteners to high school students to adults – all are welcome at the Xing Art Studio. We offer a range of art skill training classes\, including pencil sketching\, marker drawing\, ink pen drawing\, acrylic painting\, watercolor\, and oil painting. \nEvery year\, our students learn from Mother Nature by entering drawings and paintings in the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Contest. As they are creating their pieces\, they are asking questions like: What’s the duck’s name? Where do ducks live? Why are ducks important for our wetland? How can we protect them?
