DESCRIPTION:Youth Art Month Exhibit – Art from Reston Elementary School Students \nTo celebrate National Youth Art Month\, Reston public elementary schools have created a special exhibit of artwork to be displayed from March 2 to March 30 in the Jo Ann Rose Gallery and 3D Gallery at Reston Community Center Lake Anne. The exhibit showcases colorful and compelling original works of art from students at every grade level. Everyone is invited to attend an open house on Sunday\, March 8\, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Jo Ann Rose Gallery. \nThe elementary schools participating in the exhibit are Dogwood\, Hunters Woods\, Forest Edge\, Lake Anne\, Sunrise Valley and Terraset elementary schools. \nNational Youth Art Month is an annual observance celebrated since 1961. It emphasizes the value of art education and encourages support for quality school art programs.
