SUMMARY:Youth Art Month Recetpion
DESCRIPTION:Art from South Lakes High School and Langston Hughes Middle School students \nArt from South Lakes High School and Langston Hughes Middle School students is exuberantly displayed on the walls of Reston Community Center Hunters Woods during March. The award recognizes artists and arts organizations that provide exceptional arts education opportunities and experiences. \nAs a teacher\, Mr. Rando empowers students to take on the full creative process of large-scale public sculptures. He creates a professional\, collaborative environment where students develop real-world skills in design\, engineering and fabrication. His open-door policy welcomes all grade levels\, fostering an inclusive space where creativity and critical thinking thrive! Many former students return each year to support the program\, a testament to his lasting influence. \nContact: Marco Rando MRRando@fcps.edu
