SUMMARY:Reston Community Players: Murder on the Orient Express
DESCRIPTION:Just after midnight\, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year\, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment\, stabbed eight times\, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst\, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again. \nWhen the Agatha Christie estate approached Ken Ludwig to adapt Dame Agatha’s most enduring novel and put it on stage\, he agreed with alacrity – just as quickly as it takes Hercule Poirot to solve the most thrilling case of his entire career. \nSo wax your mustache and hold onto your passport for what has now become the most highly produced comedy-mystery in the world. \nBook by Ken Ludwig & Agatha Christie\nDirected by Kimberly Leone \nThe Reston Community Players is supported in part by ArtsFairfax.

SUMMARY:Trout Fishing in America
DESCRIPTION:Trout Fishing in America is the longstanding\, four-time GRAMMY-nominated musical partnership of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. A willingness to at once make fun of our most annoying daily habits\, then to touch our hearts with tender and passionate images of family life\, is what makes the connection between Trout Fishing in America and its audiences so compelling and poignant. Catch a sneak peek performance at Founder’s Day at Lake Anne Plaza earlier in the day.
