Reston Community Players (RCP) continue their tradition of artistic excellence with touching, funny and timeless productions. RCP has been delighting audiences since 1966 and performing at Reston Community Center’s The Leila Gordon Theatre (formerly the CenterStage) since 1979.

Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show”
“The Rocky Horror Show,” a wild rock musical, has been a worldwide phenomenon for 50 years and it’s still raucous, sexy, campy and fun! Come join Brad Majors and Janet Weiss as they spend a night out in a mad scientist’s castle and learn to live the motto of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, “Don’t Dream It, Be It!” Features “The Time Warp,” “What Ever Happened to Saturday Night” and “Dammit, Janet!”

“She Kills Monsters” by Qui Nguyen
Following the death of her teenaged sister, Agnes finds her sister’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook and learns that her sister was a legend as she’s catapulted into a journey of discovery, adventure and glorious swordplay in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. A High-Octane dramatic comedy that pays homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

“What the Constitution Means to Me” by Heidi Schreck
In her Tony- and Pulitzer-nominated play, playwright Heidi Schreck looks back from her 40s on what she thought of the Constitution as a 15-year-old! This play engages the audience in an honest, authentic, very funny and participatory debate!
