Reston Community Center seeks performers, artisans and civic groups for annual cultural celebration.
RESTON, VA — Reston Community Center invites performing arts groups, artisans and civic organizations to apply to participate in the 2025 Reston Multicultural Festival. This vibrant celebration of diversity will take place on Saturday, September 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Reston Town Center. Now in its 23rd year, the festival draws thousands from across the region and features dynamic performances, cultural demonstrations and unique and traditional items for sale.
RCC invites submissions from individuals of all cultural backgrounds who are eager to share their traditional arts and culture. The Festival will showcase artistic performances on stage as well as various street activities. We encourage vendors, craftspeople and artisans with authentic products as well as community partners to apply.
To ensure we accommodate as many applicants as possible, selections will be based on the materials submitted.
Please note that while styles can be specific to certain religious traditions, they should not be used to proselytize or overtly promote any faith. The Reston Multicultural Festival is a family-friendly event and all performances and displays must be suitable for audiences of all ages, free from content that could be deemed inappropriate for a diverse, multicultural and multigenerational audience. Special consideration will be given to organizations based in Reston.
