Cris Rivera has been a great addition to the Reston Community Center team. Cris has valuable experience managing facilities and staff that has enabled him to assist with training new maintenance team members as they come on board. He consistently performs above and beyond the standards for his position with exceptional strengths in time management and customer service. Patrons and colleagues alike appreciate his positive demeanor, sense of humor and the critical support he offers when translation needs arise for Spanish-speaking patrons. Cris often manages the RCC Hunters Woods location when it’s at full capacity without requiring additional support. He takes on extremely challenging situations and delivers results that are consistent with RCC’s mission and values.
Cris not only opens or closes our facility properly, but also makes daily work environment decisions that better the flow and functioning of RCC Hunters Woods. He assumes added responsibility without resistance. He embraces change and always finds a way to improve not only himself but also the customer experience. Patrons frequently communicate following their rental about how impressed they have been with his support. Cris takes the time to get to know patrons by name and makes it a point to brighten up the day for staff members. His personality, diligence and reliability are anchors of his superb contributions to RCC success.
