To celebrate National Youth Art Month, Reston public elementary schools have created a special exhibit of colorful and compelling artwork to be displayed from March 2 – 30 in the Jo Ann Rose Gallery. They are joined by students from Langston Hughes Middle School and South Lakes High School in the 3D Gallery where original three-dimensional works will be displayed until April 17.

Visit the Jo Ann Rose Gallery during March and the 3D Gallery until April 17 whenever the Lake Anne facility is open (call 703-476-4500 to check availability). Everyone is invited to attend an exhibit opening on Sunday, March 8, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Jo Ann Rose Gallery.

National Youth Art Month is an annual observance celebrated since 1961.  It emphasizes the value of art education and encourages support for quality school art programs.
