Free Summer Concerts Return to Reston This Summer

Find outdoor performances around Reston Thursdays – Sundays beginning in June

summer4RESTON, VA – Reston Community Center is pleased to announce that free summer concerts will return to venues around Reston beginning in June.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, RCC offered a very scaled-down slate of performances. Thanks to falling COVID-19 rates and a loosening of public health restrictions, patrons can expect a more typical run of performances at Reston Town Square Park, Lake Anne Plaza and Reston Station in 2021.

“The more people are vaccinated, the safer the community is,” said Leila Gordon, RCC Executive Director. “Measures we have all taken to stop the spread have worked, and we see the public health metrics responding accordingly. We will monitor the COVID-19 data, government guidance and vaccination rates carefully to be sure we provide environments that are consistent with public health best practices.”

Partners for the more than 50 performances are likewise committed to the approach and hopeful for a more normal summer filled with the sounds of music and people enjoying themselves.
