Small District 5 is a special tax district created by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to support RCC. It includes most Reston residential and commercial properties. Property owners are taxed $0.047 on each $100 of assessed value to Small District 5. Small District 5 residents and employees receive discounted rates on RCC programs, as well as priority registration.
