RESTON, VA – September 10, 2026 – The Reston Multicultural Festival (MCF) returns to Reston Town Center to celebrate Reston’s rich diversity through song, dance, craft arts and community engagement on Saturday, September 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Reston Community Center proudly presents the Reston Multicultural Festival in partnership with Reston Town Center, Reston Town Center Association (RTCA) and BXP. Volunteer coordination is provided by Reston Association. Artist and curatorial support provided by the National Council of Traditional Arts and the Virginia Folklife Program.
Media representatives are invited to attend the Reston Multicultural Festival and are asked to follow the photography and videography guidelines described below.
WHAT: 2026 Reston Multicultural Festival
WHEN: Saturday, September 19, 2026, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Opening Ceremony at the Pavilion Stage at 11:00 a.m. will feature elected officials and community partners.

RESTON TOWN CENTER PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY PERMIT GUIDELINES:
Any person using photographic, videographic or other camera equipment including media outlets, festival performers, vendors or organization representatives, must obtain a Photography Permit before use at the Festival per MCF host site policy:

- Submit forms to the Reston Town Center Marketing Department at info@restontowncenter.com
- Photography Permit applications are due before September 16, 2026.
Failure to sign a current release may result in the inability to photograph or video the Festival on any equipment other than a cell phone. Cell phones may be used without a release.
