During the 25th annual “Gifts from the HeART” exhibit artists will display and sell original works of art in watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media and photography in the Jo Ann Rose Gallery. Ceramic pieces, both functional and ornamental, will be featured in the 3D Gallery along with beadwork, jewelry, mosaics, fused glass and wood works. All entry fees and 10 percent of sales are donated to Cornerstones to support their important work in the community.

Participating artists donate 10 percent of their proceeds from sales to help Cornerstones continue their important work, which includes operation of the Embry Rucker Community Shelter, the Laurel Learning Center and their Community Services Outreach, providing job counseling, emergency food and youth programs.

“Gifts from the HeART” exhibit brings artists and community members together for a wonderful cause,” said Cheri Danaher, RCC’s Arts Education Director. “Through this event, everyone involved can enjoy fantastic works of art, celebrate the holidays, and also support those in need in our area.”
