RCC COMMUNITY SURVEY NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
RESTON, VA – You can help plan RCC’s future programs, facilities and services by taking our 2024 Community Survey online. RCC conducts this needs analysis every five years to inform its strategic planning.
Earlier this summer, selected Small District 5 households received a paper survey in the mail; the sample is aligned with community demographics and the mailed survey tallies provide a statistically valid set of results that reflect Reston’s population. An online version of the survey is available at https://www.coopercenter.org/reston for all Small District 5 (Reston) residents through September 2. There are options on the survey site for alternate language versions. The results of the online submissions will be tallied separately.
The effort is being conducted by The Center for Survey Research (CSR) at the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia. Information gleaned offers insight to how people recreate, pursue arts and culture opportunities, use RCC facilities and obtain information about choices for their leisure activities. In addition, this year, the agency seeks residents’ views about RCC’s Lake Anne facility and offerings.
For anyone who wants to offer their views to RCC more informally, the agency’s inbox, RCCContact@fairfaxcounty.gov, also may be used to send input. They will receive a response within 48 hours of receipt of the message and information or comments about RCC programs, facilities and services are shared with the Board of Governors and appropriate staff. Any questions about the survey process can be directed to RCC’s Executive Director, Leila Gordon, at Leila.Gordon@fairfaxcounty.gov.
